Hi there!
My name is Mandy and I'm so glad you found Found & Styled!

I'm a veteran thrifter who specializes in curated vintage and loves to make people feel good about themselves.
On this site, you can shop one-of-a-kind vintage and secondhand finds, learn more about slow and sustainable fashion, and gain the information and confidence you need to build a style that is authentic to you.

About Found & Styled
I started thrifting when I was a teenager - initially just for fun like many young people - and then out of necessity when I moved back to Philadelphia from New York for grad school. Money was especially tight and I quickly realized that shopping thrift and secondhand was going to be my go-to option for day-to-day clothes, business attire, and home furnishings.
My first few jobs in my early 20s were in radio and TV, so I could honestly wear whatever I wanted. This gave me the opportunity to become more comfortable and confident in my own style while also gaining valuable knowledge in how to thrift.
However, my personal style got more and more diluted as I made my way up in my career and found that I needed to be more and more "professional". By my mid-30s, I was working in a job where I was in "corporate" attire every day. Tough and long commutes and overall burnout resulted in me giving up the creativity and ownership of my own personal style that I once had and I just felt exhausted and frankly - lost.
Enter COVID: A time where we all found ourselves working from home and the whole concept of "office attire" imploded. This coupled with finding myself approaching my last year of my 30s caused something inside me to scream, beg, and plead with myself to take some time to refind the fun that I once had in my fashion.

And so, Found & Styled was born. It started simply as a personal challenge to myself to pull together outfits that pushed against the norms and comfort zones that I had come to know so well. But as I eventually started getting questions from folks about thrifting and shopping secondhand, I found that I loved sharing tips and tricks with people and highlighting sustainable fashion.

At the same time, my dear friend and thrifter sister, Colleen, was starting her brick and mortar shop, Poppy & Bean in Philadelphia (which you absolutely should check out!). I had begun sourcing for her and eventually, as the store grew, I was asked to become a consigner for her shop under the Found & Styled brand. Within a week, I had a logo, a tagging gun, and a business totally by accident.

Today, this initial, little secret of mine - this safe space for me to experiment and refind my own personal style - has morphed into something so much bigger.
Found & Styled helps people get unstuck, inspired, and feeling confident with what to wear and how to wear it. There are no rules or trends here. F&S is all about authenticity and making YOU feel seen and safe in your own wardrobe and body.
